Social with a Twist @ The Boat Shed
I hope you’re ready to meet some fab new women on Saturday😊 Here is all the info you will need for the Social with a Twist lunch event at The Boat Shed at 12pm.
Where do i go?
The Boat Shed is just by the Cotton Tree pools, next to the camping site. Follow the path next to the pools, past the takeaway kiosk and walk through the little car park.
Head to the entrance with the blue awning to the left of the sign.
on arrival
There is a host desk to your left, just as you enter the restaurant. Let staff know you are there for the Social with a Twist event and your table number, and they will show you to your table.
which table am i on?
Your table number will be the name of your chat group. There will also be a list of names at each table to indicate who is on which table.
You will need to be seated at the correct able as food has been planned and coordinated to accommodate dietaries.
allow enough time
Be sure to allow enough time to arrive on time, as your table is available to 2.15pm so you don’t want to miss out on time with your new friends.
what to expect?
19 ladies will be attending and you will be split into two tables.
There will be a nice mix of newbies and ladies who have attended events before. Everyone will get to meet new women, and it will be a nice afternoon of chats, laughs and new friends😊🌷
name stickers
There will be Social with a Twist stickers on the table. Grab a sticker, write your preferred name on it and pop the sticker on so your new friends can easily know your name.
food
The food will all come out at 12.20pm. Shared food selection:
Baked Brie with apricot, figs, honey and pistachios (GF and non-GF)
Bang bang chicken sesame glass noodle and wombok salad, with peanut Saigon dressing (GF). One serve will be coeliac-friendly.
Hot and sour calamari (GF not coeliac-friendly)
Green salad with Spanish onion and cucumber in basil vinaigrette (GF)
food allergies/dietaries
Please note venue cannot guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination or traces.
For all the ladies who have included dietaries in their booking, Boat Shed have been advised and been provided with details, you can also mention to staff serving you on the day.
drinks
To pay for your drinks separately, you’ll be able to order using QR code at your table or you can pop up to the bar. If you arrive earlier you can grab a drink before settling in at your table😊🥂
event finish time
The event finishes at 2.15pm. You will need to leave by this time to allow the staff to set up for the next event.
If the weather is nice, you can head outside to continue your chats and mingle with the ladies from other table, or you can wander over to Beach Bar near by on the Esplanade.
chat group
The chat group for your table will be opened when everyone has given a 👍 on the WhatsApp message to confirm they have been able to access and read this pre-event info. Press down on the message and give a👍.
I do not see most of the messages in the chat groups so if you need to contact me please message me directly. You’ll also be able to keep in touch with the ladies on the day if you need to message your table.
cancellations
If you need to cancel at any time please let me know so I can make sure the venue and ladies are not waiting for you to arrive.

As I won’t be at the venue, if you need to contact me pop me a message on WhatsApp or text/call 0468 757 048. Fi (the manager) and Boat Shed staff will also be able to assist with queries.
