pre-Event info - Iris Rooftop

I hope you’re all set for a nice afternoon with the ladies on Saturday😊🎉🥂

The event starts at 1pm, with an option for new/tad nervous ladies to pre-meet 12.30pm.

Where do I go?

Iris rooftop is accessible through the lift in the Hotel X lobby. Hotel X is located at 458 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley.

On arrival

When you exit the lift on the rooftop, you can approach the host desk, and let them know you are attending the Social with a Twist event.

12.30pm arrival

The pre-meeting spot will be in the bar area, and there will be two Social with a Twist high tables where you’ll be able to stand around and meet the ladies.

Let staff know if you are meeting at Table A or Table B and they will direct you. Then you can make your way to the cabanas at 1pm which are just close by.

1pm arrival

For the ladies arriving at 1pm, let the host know you are attending the Social with a Twist event in the cabanas, and they will direct you.

what to expect?

There will be approx 45 ladies attending with a mix of ladies who have attended events before and newbies, so you’ll all get to meet fab new women😊

This is a standing mingle-style event where you’ll be able to move around, chat and connect with like-minded women who are keen to meet fab new women. There will also be some seating.

 
 

food

The shared food selection will be:

  • Cured meats

  • Tomato and oregano croquettes (V + GF + DF)

  • Lamb empanadas

  • Manchego with quince, marinated and pickled vegetables

additional food

These vegetarian items have been added in addition to items listed on your ticket.

  • Tomato and mozarella croquettes

  • Grilled tomato bread with manchego

All the food will all be brought out at 1.15pm.

drinks

Drinks can be purchased at the bar which is close to the cabanas.

event finish time

Event finishes at 3pm, the cabanas will be available to 3.30pm and you’ll be welcome to stay as long (or short) as you’d like to😊

pre-connection

The ladies who requested to be pre-connected will be included in a WhatsApp chat group. The group name will indicate if you’re meeting at Table A or Table B.

parking

Secure Parking has facilities on Brunswick Street and Martin Street, both are within walking distance to venue.
