Social with a Twist Ladies Afternoon

It will soon be time to meet lots of lovely ladies at the Social with a Twist Ladies Afternoon😊 Here is all the info you will need for the event on Saturday 18th April 2pm @ Back to Basics.

Where do i go?

Back to Basics is located in The Edge building, 10 Lake Kawana Blvd, Bokarina.

When you turn left into the Edge Building, it is the first shop, and has signage on the glass windows. It is right on the lake on the other side of the building.

on arrival

Head inside the cafe or out on the deck. The space will be for the Social with a Twist event from 2.00pm.

what to expect?

There will be approx 30 ladies attending. It will be a nice afternoon of chats and laughs, and a chance to mingle with like-minded women keen to meet new friends😊

There will be a selection of mini savoury and mini sweets set up inside the cafe, you will be able to help yourselves and then take a seat.

  • Sandwiches/wraps

  • Ham and cheese croissants

  • Cheese and tomato croissants

  • Pork sausage rolls with dipping sauce

  • Quiches (GF)

  • Fruit tart

  • Muffins (GF)

Please note: There may be some changes to this selection.

dietaries

There will be a separate selection of GF and vegetarian items available.

drinks

A selection of teas/coffees, alcohol and non-alcohol drinks will be available to purchase.

event finish time

The event finishes at 4.30pm and you’ll be welcome to stay as long (or short) as you want to.

pre-connection chat group

WhatsApp chat groups will be set up this afternoon for the ladies who indicated they would like to be pre-connected.

I don’t see most of the messages in the chat groups, so pop me a direct message if you need to contact me.

dress code

No strict dress code but a great excuse to get dressy with the ladies.

parking instructions provided by venue

Turn left into "The Edge" building (you will also see A frame sign and flag out the front). There are approximately 9 Back to Basics car parks directly in front of the cafe to the left, and to the side of the cafe.

For additional parking, as you turn left into the Edge building, keep going straight and you will find parking available that is free to use as no businesses are operating during the weekend.
