pre-Event info - Social with a Twist @ Marriott

I hope you’re all set to meet fab new friends on Saturday😊. The event starts 1pm and here is all the pre-event info you will need.

Where do I go?

The event is at Marriott Hotel, 515 Queen Street.

On arrival

Head to the the restaurant, which is to your right as you enter the hotel. If you cannot find the restaurant ask at the front desk which is directly in front of you as you enter.

bathrooms

If you need to pop to the bathroom💄 before heading to the restaurant, this is to the left of the front desk.

at the restaurant

Just let staff know you are attending the Social with a Twist event and they will point you in the right direction👉.

pre-lunch

There will be reserved Social with a Twist tables in the bar area within the restaurant. You will be able to meet the ladies there, and purchase a drink at the bar if you’d like to.

what to expect?

17 women will be attending, who are just like you, keen to meet fab new women🌸, with a mix of newbies and women who have been to events before.

You can look forward to a nice afternoon meeting new friends in a relaxed friendly setting😊

lunch is served

Staff will direct you to your table, and lunch will be served at 1.20pm. This will be the shared selection:

Juniper Berries and Shiraz Braised Beef Cheek, creamy Sebago mash, crispy bacon, peas, and jus. (GF)
Cauliflower fritters
Mushroom arancini
Vegetarian spring rolls and samosas
Broccolini with lemon and avocado dressing🥦

food safety

Please be advised whilst precautions will be taken during food preparation to prevent cross contamination, venue cannot guarantee there will not be traces of the allergen in the food provided as the food is not prepared in an allergen free environment.

drinks

You will be able to pay for your drinks separately by purchasing at the bar.

post lunch

Any nerves you had will be gone😊 You will be able to head back to the reserved area in the bar, to confidently chat and mingle with your new friends😊.

You’ll also be able to meet more women that you didn’t get a chance to chat to whilst seated.

pre-connection chat groups

There will be 2 WhatsApp chat groups, these are to pre-connect you with some of the ladies.

The groups will be opened once everyone confirms they’re able to access and read this pre-event info by giving the message a like 👍. You’ll then be able to message with the other ladies.

arrival time

Please allow enough time to arrive on time. The event starts at 1pm, and you will be able to meet from 12.30pm in the reserved area in the bar. You can keep in touch in your chat group with your ETA☎️.

cancellations

If you need to cancel on the day or prior to the event please make sure you let me know as early as possible, as I will need to make the necessary arrangements.

dress code

Anything from smart casual 👖👠to dressy👗 will work.
