pre-Event info - Social with a Twist @ Marriott

I hope you’re all set to meet fab new friends on Saturday😊. Here is all the pre-event info you will need.

Where do I go?

The event is at Marriott Hotel, 515 Queen Street.

On arrival

Head to the the restaurant, which is to your right as you enter the hotel. If you cannot find the restaurant ask at the front desk which is directly in front of you as you enter.

bathrooms

If you need to pop to the bathroom💄, this is left of the front desk.

at the restaurant

Just let staff know you are there for the Social with a Twist event, and they will show you to your table. Your table will be available in the restaurant from 11.50am.

what to expect?

There will be 18 women attending. You will be split onto two tables so it will be less daunting than turning up to a big group, and it will be easier to connect🌸

There will be a mix of newbies and women who have been to events before. You can look forward to a nice afternoon meeting new friends in a relaxed friendly environment😊

food

Lunch will be served at 12.20pm. This will be the shared selection:

Red curry with tofu and chicken (GF)
Jasmine rice🍚 (GF)
Cauliflower fritters
Broccolini with lemon and avocado dressing🥦

food safety

Please be advised whilst precautions will be taken during food preparation to prevent cross contamination, venue cannot guarantee there will not be traces of the allergen in the food provided as the food is not prepared in an allergen free environment.

drinks

Drink orders will be taken at the table and you’ll be able to pay when you order or you can also order at the bar.

event finish time

Event finish time is 2pm, your table will be available to 2.30pm. After you’ve eaten you can move over to the Social with a Twist reserved tables in the bar area and will be welcome to stay as long (or short) as you’d like to🥂.

Any nerves you had will be gone, and you’ll confidently chat and mingle with your new friends😊. You’ll also be able to meet more women that you didn’t get a chance to meet while you were seated.

pre-connection chat group

The WhatsApp chat group will be opened once all the ladies confirm they’re able to access and read this pre-event info by giving the message a like 👍. You’ll then be able to message with the other ladies.

arrival time

Please allow enough time to arrive on time. If you arrive early you will be able to head to the reserved Social with a Twist table in the bar area which will be available from 11.30am. You can keep in touch with the ladies in the WhatsApp chat group.

cancellations

If you need to cancel prior to the event please make sure you let me know as early as possible, as I will need to make the necessary arrangements.

dress code

The theme is bright colours to brighten up your winter💜, and you can go for smart casual 👖👠to dressy👗.
