pre-Event info - Social with a Twist @ Marriott
I hope you’re all set for a nice ladies’ lunch on NYE😊. The event starts 12pm and here is all the pre-event info you will need for Wednesday.
Where do I go?
The event is at Marriott Hotel, 515 Queen Street.
On arrival
Head to the the restaurant, which is to your right as you enter the hotel. If you cannot find the restaurant ask at the front desk which is directly in front of you as you enter.
bathrooms
If you need to pop to the bathroom💄 before heading to the restaurant, this is to the left of the front desk.
at the restaurant
Just let staff know you are attending the Social with a Twist event and they will point you in the right direction👉.
pre-lunch
There will be a reserved Social with a Twist table in the bar area within the restaurant. You will be able to meet the ladies there, and purchase a drink at the bar if you’d like to.
You will also have some vegetarian samosas, spring rolls, arancini and/or cauliflower fritters.
what to expect?
8 women will be attending, so it will be a nice number to connect, meet new women and have some chats and laughs over a nice lunch.
There will be a mix of newbies and ladies who have attended events before😊
lunch is served
Staff will direct you to your table at 12.30pm and lunch will be served at 12.40pm. This will be the shared selection:
Juniper Berries and Shiraz Braised Beef Cheek, creamy Sebago mash, crispy bacon, peas, and jus. (GF)
Cauliflower fritters
Mushroom arancini
Vegetarian spring rolls and samosas
Broccolini with lemon and avocado dressing🥦
food safety
Please be advised whilst precautions will be taken during food preparation to prevent cross contamination, venue cannot guarantee there will not be traces of the allergen in the food provided as the food is not prepared in an allergen free environment.
drinks
You will be able to pay for your drinks separately by purchasing at the bar.
post lunch
You will be able to head back to the reserved area in the bar, to continue your chats with your new friends😊. Event finishes 2pm, but you are welcome to stay as long (or short) as you’d like to.
pre-connection whatsapp chat group
The chat group will be opened once everyone confirms they’re able to access and read this pre-event info by giving the message a like 👍. You’ll then be able to message with the other ladies.
arrival time
Please allow enough time to arrive on time. The event starts at 12pm, and you will be able to meet from 11.45am in the reserved area in the bar. You can keep in touch in your chat group with your ETA☎️.
cancellations
If you need to cancel on the day or prior to the event please make sure you let me know as early as possible, as I will need to make the necessary arrangements.

dress code
Anything from smart casual 👖👠to dressy👗 will work.
