Social with a Twist @ The Boat Shed
I hope you’re ready to meet some fab new women on Saturday😊 Here is all the info you will need for your lunch event at The Boat Shed at 1.30pm.
Where do i go?
The Boat Shed is just by the Cotton Tree pools, next to the camping site. Follow the path next to the pools, past the takeaway kiosk and walk through the little car park.
Head to the entrance with the blue awning to the left of the sign.
allow enough time
Be sure to allow enough time to arrive on time, and so you don’t have to rush.
what to expect?
40 ladies will be attending and there will be 5 tables, with 7-9 women on each. It will be easy to connect, and less daunting than being in a really big group.
There will be a good mix of newbies, regulars and ladies who have been to one or two events before. Everyone will get to meet new women, and it will be a nice afternoon for chats, laughs and new friends😊🌷
name stickers
There will be Social with a Twist stickers on the table with your name, grab a sticker and pop it on so you won’t have to worry about trying to remember names of your new friends.
food
The food will all come out at 1.50pm. Shared food selection:
Baked Brie with apricot, figs, honey and pistachios (GF and non-GF)
Bang bang chicken sesame glass noodle and wombok salad, with peanut Saigon dressing (GF)
Hot and sour calamari (GF and DF)
Artisan flatbread with basil, confit garlic and buffalo mozzarella
food allergies/dietaries
Please note venue cannot guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination or traces.
For all the ladies who have included dietaries in their booking, staff have been advised and been provided with details. Boat Shed have requested that you also just mention your dietaries when the food is served.
drinks
To pay for your drinks separately, you’ll be able to order using QR code at your table or you can pop up to the bar. If you arrive earlier you can grab a drink before settling in at your table😊🥂
event finish time
The event finishes at 3.30pm. Your table will be available for longer so you can stay as long, or short as you would like to.
If the weather is nice, you can also head outside and chat and mingle with the ladies from other tables.
chat group
You will be pre-connected with the other ladies who will be on your table in a WhatsApp chat group.
I do not see most of the messages in the chat groups so if you need to contact me please message me directly. You’ll also be able to keep in touch with the ladies on the day if you need to message your table.
cancellations
If you need to cancel on or before the day please make sure you let me know as soon as you can as I will need to make the necessary changes.
