pre-Event info - Social with a Twist @ Marriott
I hope you’re all set for a nice afternoon meeting new friends😊. The event starts 1pm and here is all the pre-event info you will need for Saturday 19th.
Where do I go?
The event is at Marriott Hotel, 515 Queen Street.
On arrival
Head to the the restaurant, which is to your right as you enter the hotel. If you cannot find the restaurant ask at the front desk which is directly in front of you as you enter.
bathrooms
If you need to pop to the bathroom💄 before heading to the restaurant, this is to the left of the front desk.
at the restaurant
Just let staff know you are with the Social with a Twist ladies and they will point you in the right direction👉.
pre-lunch
There will be a reserved Social with a Twist table on the deck area outside, from 12.30pm for anyone who would like to meet before being seated for lunch at 1pm.
what to expect?
8 women will be attending, so it will be a nice number to connect, meet new women and have some chats and laughs over a nice lunch.
There will be a mix of newbies and ladies who have attended events before😊
lunch
You can head to the restaurant at 1pm to order your lunch. You will be able to order from the lunch or dinner selection, and you will receive a 10% discount.
food safety
Please be advised whilst precautions will be taken during food preparation to prevent cross contamination, venue cannot guarantee there will not be traces of the allergen in the food provided as the food is not prepared in an allergen free environment.
drinks
You can pop to the bar to purchase drinks individually.
post lunch
You will be able to head back to the reserved deck area, move to the bar or stay seated at your table. Event finishes 3pm, but you are welcome to stay as long (or short) as you’d like to.
pre-connection whatsapp chat group
The chat group will be opened once everyone confirms they’re able to access and read this pre-event info by giving the message a 👍. You’ll then be able to message with the other ladies.
arrival time
Please allow enough time to arrive on time. The event starts at 1pm, and you will be able to meet from 12.30pm. You can keep in touch in your chat group with your ETA☎️.
cancellations
If you need to cancel on the day or prior to the event you can let me, or the ladies know in your chat group so they are not waiting for you to arrive.

dress code
Anything from smart casual 👖👠to dressy👗 will work, feel free to check with the ladies in your WhatsApp group their outfit of choice.
